With that long-awaited kiss, Alec and Trella became an official couple. As any new relationship goes, they spent every free minute together.

As the seasons slowly shifted, Trella got that promotion to Senior Manager and Alec was getting paid hefty simoleons as a player on a big soccer team.
With both their careers taking off, they decided it was time to buy a house together. As Trella was packing up her little home, she reminisced on the years she lived there. She thought about all the healing she had done after her divorce from Paxton. The nights she sat alone in her bedroom with a cup of hot tea, journaling about life. She smiled at the countless cuddles she and Archimedes shared on the couch, watching TV. She felt like she was closing a chapter of her life and she was so excited for the next one!

It was wintertime when they found a stunning house in Newcrest with 4 bedrooms, a home gym, and a large yard with a pool and cabana. They celebrated their awesome jobs and the start of their life together.

Trella loved cooking in the spacious kitchen, and after intense soccer games Alec loved cryotherapy by the pool. (The Watcher often had to bring him inside because he was too handsome to die by freezing).

Shortly after moving, Natalia graduated high school with honors and left to attend Communications classes at college.

Natalia’s relationship with her parents had gradually mended and she often visited her siblings, who were growing up so fast! Jordan was a goofball teen and the twins, Aidan and Amelia, were a curious little duo.
(Valentina was NOT thrilled about her daughters hair, but thankfully did not feed Trella to a cowplant.)

One morning while at work, Trella felt a little ill but thought nothing of it. Until it happened the next day, and the next. She suspected she was pregnant! Although her and Alec hadn’t discussed it, their lives were stable and she trusted him completely. After taking a positive test later that week, she sat him down to tell him the news.

She couldn’t help but feel nervous but her worries were for nothing because he was overjoyed! Trella could hardly believe her life was this beautiful.

Trella enjoyed being pregnant and worked until she was practically bursting. It was a little hard when she had to take time off because she loved working but she reminded herself to enjoy her last few moments of calm before the baby came.

One night while laying in bed, Alec brought up the subject of marriage.

Alec: I know I should have done the right thing and asked you to marry me before we got pregnant, I’m sorry for that. But what do you think of getting married in the countryside of Henford-on-Bagley? Or would you want a beachside wedding? Or in a chapel?
Trella: You want to make me a respectable woman, is that it? She teased.
Alec: Yes actually, you silly woman. My parents are probably rolling in their graves because I didn’t marry you before knocking you up. They were very proper like that.
Trella: I really don’t know Alec, I hadn’t given it much thought. I like how things are. Why do we need a piece of paper to make us official?
Alec: Well, I mean, I just want the world to know you’re MINE.
Trella: I am yours, heart and soul.
She kissed him and he melted at the touch of her lips. As the heat between them grew, his fingers trailed from her neck, down her arms, to her waist. Even with a belly, she was perfect to him and he wanted to touch every inch of her. So he did. (This is where -in a movie- the scene would slowly fade with romantic music playing.) 🔥

Trella fell asleep curled in Alec’s arms, while he gazed at the snow falling outside the bedroom window. That conversation left him with an uncomfortable feeling. He wanted to have a wedding. But Trella didn’t? Why? Was she unsure about something?
