Trella gave birth to a baby girl and they named her Isis. She had her Daddy’s eyes and her Mama’s smile and her parents were absolutely obsessed with her! Their favorite thing was bringing her outside on warm nights while they relaxed under the stars and talked about their dreams and future.
As she began to crawl and babble, Isis’ favorite thing in the world was Archimedes the cat. Yes, Archimedes was still alive thanks to a few magic treats from the vet.
Alec hadn’t brought up the marriage conversation again but Trella had been thinking about it. There was no doubt she was in love with Alec, but after her first failed marriage she was afraid to try again. She could tell he had been hurt when she brushed it off so she decided to talk about it while they were on a date one evening.
As they talked through their feelings, both joys and fears, Trella realized how silly she was being. This man loved her! They bought a house and had a daughter together! Holding on to her past mistakes was no way to honor her current relationship and she truly did want to spend her life with Alec. As the conversation carried on, she began to feel excited about marriage. They talked about locations and shared ideas, and decided to wait until Isis was a little older so she could be their flower girl.
Time flew and in the blink-of-an-eye Isis grew into a beautiful little girl. She was very gifted at playing the piano and LOVED when her older cousin Natalia would come home from college to visit!
Now if you’ve read through my whole story so far, you’ll remember that I really hate playing with families and kids! Not because they’re difficult in the game, but because my real life interests just aren’t “domestic” lol, so I don’t play that way either. But I forced myself to slow down and actually enjoy playing with this family, and they grew on me!
Now would they finally plan that wedding of theirs?
