Kristin is a Sim

PART 7 – When Your Mom Hates Buttcheeks

Let’s check back in with Tristan and his family, because they’re having problems with their teenage daughter Natalia.

Natalia was generally a good kid; she got good grades in school and had a part-time job working at a fancy clothing boutique. But her teenage hormones were running rampant and her parents were very strict. Natalia felt trapped and stifled, which caused her to throw tantrums and argue nonstop. Her parents were at a loss how to deal with her, as they also had their hands full with work, little Jordan, and the twins. It was a stressful environment for everybody.

Valentina: Natalia, what are you wearing? I can see your buttcheeks! And is that… a bra??
Natalia: It’s from the boutique mom! It’s a fashion trend but what would you know?
Valentina: More than you think, and you’re not leaving the house in that.
Natalia: When I graduate high school, I’m moving out!
Valentina: Hunny, you think you can afford living on your own? Good luck with that! Now please help and get the twins’ dinner ready.
Natalia: I’m not their mom! Ugh! Why do I always have to take care of them! I’m supposed to be out with my friends right now!
Valentina: Change. Your. Clothes. And. Help. With. Dinner. Now.

The one person who seemed to be able to deal with Natalia was her Aunt Trella. Trella would come over often to spend time with the family and loved taking her niece out for coffee and helping her with homework.

Natalia: I wish I lived by myself like you.
Trella: You will someday, just keep getting good grades and I promise things will work out.
Natalia: I just can’t do anything I want to! Mom and dad are always telling me no.
Trella: Your parents love you Nat. They just want what’s best for you.
Natalia: *sighing* Suuuuure.
